Inhalte
The X-Student Research Group is working to map and analyse strategies to combat child marriages worldwide. As part of the course, an internet portal is being created that provides information on foreign legislative and judicial practice regarding marriages of persons under the age of 18, as well as analysing awareness campaigns, strategic litigation to achieve landmark rulings and initiatives to strengthen women's rights. Together we establish contacts with experts and activists, interview them and evaluate information on the topic. This provides the opportunity to acquire comparative knowledge of the basics of other legal systems and strategies for enforcing international law. The group is particularly suitable for students of law, political science, cultural studies, social sciences and geography.
