Leader: Julia Modes, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; Institutional affiliation: Institut für Kunst- und Bildgeschichte, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
In the research seminar 'narrating history – from paper to exhibition' an exhibition based on the results of the seminar 'history images today – agents in the process of historiography' will be organized. The project's central questions are: How do history images look like today? Who is trying to actively shape history with images? Which mediums are used? And how do history images today differ from the traditional history paintings? All students interested in images, history and politics are welcome to participate. The attendance of last year's seminar is not required.
