The Barcamp is dedicated to the Open Science movement. It is open to anyone who is interested in meeting like-minded people, getting involved in Open Science, opening up new perspectives, networking and promoting Open Science together. Participation in the Barcamp is free of charge.

The Barcamp is aimed at researchers and practitioners with different backgrounds, experts and newcomers, and anyone who wants to research and practice Open Science. The open format of the Barcamp allows for lively discussions, getting to know and sharing experiences with Open Science and plenty of time for networking with the community. Specific knowledge about Open Science is not required, participants are invited to contribute their topics.

This year's Ignition Talk on "Between Rigor and Equity - the "Open" in Open Science" will be held by Heidi Seibold.
