In early November, a delegation led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Irene Tracey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Development and External Affairs) Prof. David Gann, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Innovation) Prof.Chas Bountra and other representatives of the University of Oxford arrived in Berlin.

The program included a visit to the Humboldt Lab and the Charité, an alumni reception for Oxford graduates and the Falling Walls Science Summit, where Prof. Tracey moderated a panel entitled "Demographic shifts and their implications: Challenges of ageing societies worldwide". The delegation concluded their visit to Berlin with a working breakfast with the four presidents and the managing director of the Berlin University Alliance as well as State Secretary Dr. Henry Marx and the Academic Directors of the Oxford Berlin Research Partnership, Prof. Çiğdem İşsever and Prof. Andrew Hurrell.
