Where Science Meets Technology in Simulating the Human Organism
”Der Simulierte Mensch” (Si-M) is a joint research building of Charité and TU Berlin, which is being built next to the Campus Virchow and will open in 2025. Human models and innovative analysis technologies for biomedical research will be developed at the intersection of engineering and medicine.
To promote interinstitutional and interdisciplinary exchange, we cordially invite you to our Si-Mposium this year on September 1, 2023. We especially encourage young scientists to participate.
Esteemed speakers from renowned institutions such as Erasmus MC in Rotterdam (Miao-Ping Chien), the Roche Institute for Human Biology in Basel (Nikolche Gjorevski) and King's College London (Joana Neves) will share groundbreaking insights.
The program features engaging presentations, a poster session, and contributions from the Berlin University Alliance (BUA). Additionally, the celebrated scientist and artist Vera Meyer will showcase the captivating fusion of art and science.
And don't miss the opportunity to network and engage in informal discussions at the pre-event Get-Together in the cosy ambience of Mauersegler (31.8.2023 at 5 p.m.).
Attendance at the Si-Mposium is free of charge; however, registration is necessary to secure your spot. Please find all info and links on the attached flyer.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors and supporters for making this event possible: Joachim-Herz-Stiftung, Berlin Partner, Tissuse GmbH and Cellbricks GmbH.
