New Employees for the Berlin University Alliance
News from Mar 30, 2022
With the formation of the Berlin University Alliance, the four Alliance partners – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – want to develop the research hub of Berlin into an integrated research environment. In order to bring the five objectives and three cross-cutting themes to life, new staff members support the overarching work structure and joint projects.
Pascal Koch has been a member of the Berlin University Alliance administrative office since February 1, 2022, and is largely responsible for the personnel processes of the excellence alliance as well as the further institutional development of the Collaboration Platform. At present, he is also acting as a temporary deputy for the management. Among other positions previously held, Pascal Koch had headed the Human Resources department at Technische Universität Berlin and played a key role in setting up the central administration of the State Office for Refugee Affairs founded in 2016.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide my expertise to the Berlin University Alliance during this challenging and exciting time. Together with the many motivated participants in the entire ‘BUA cosmos’, I would like to shape and forge ahead with the further development of the unifying structures via the collaboration platform and the diverse processes behind it for the Berlin University Alliance.”
