Questions and challenges in the field of "Global Health" affect not only the health sciences but also many other research areas such as law, environmental protection, natural and social sciences, as well as politics, religion, philosophy, material sciences, engineering, and communication sciences.
Researchers from the four partner institutions – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – are eligible to apply in “Call for Joint PhD Projects – Grand Challenge Initiative Global Health“. Together with a partner from Melbourne, they will be responsible for supervising two doctoral candidates. Doctoral candidates are enrolled at both institutions and complete their research project with a joint degree.
