Cross-institutional Collaboration Shapes Berlin as a Research Hub
In the Excellence Strategy research competition run by the German federal and state governments, the following Clusters of Excellence of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin have been approved. As of 2019, the interdisciplinary research projects are each being funded for seven years with up to ten million euros per annum.
