An English-language online information session on the application process for the X-Student Research Groups in the winter semester 2025/26 will take place on 7 May at 11:00 am.

Early-career researchers from FU, HU, TU, and Charité can apply until 1 June 2025.

X-Student Research Groups are research teams consisting of early-career researchers and students. They are implemented as research-based seminars and typically run for one semester. Early-career researchers who wish to work with students on a specific research question related to their own project have the opportunity to bring their research into teaching and gain (initial) experience in leading a research group.

Researchers receive a teaching assignment amounting to 35 hours for conducting a X-Student Research Group. In addition, funding of up to €750 can be requested for research-related material or travel expenses.

The event is addressed to doctoral candidates and postdocs.
