By involving patients not (only) as test subjects, but with an active role (e.g. as co-researchers), the relevance, usefulness and patient orientation of health research can be increased, thereby also promoting the transferability of results into practice. This workshop will provide an overview of different approaches and traditions of active patient involvement and current developments in Germany. In small exercises, we will take a closer look at some aspects of planning and implementing active patient involvement in the different phases of the research cycle and discuss what the different stakeholder groups need for successful collaboration.

The webinar is part of the series ”participatory research” of the TD-Lab Training Program. Participation in this singular webinar is possible.
