Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez is a professor of sociology with a focus on culture and migration at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Previously, she was a Professor of General Sociology at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta, Canada. She was also a Visiting Professor at CRISHET - Chair for Critical Studies in Higher Education Transformation, Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez will present a lecture on Decolonizing the Politics of Equality in Diversity - Higher Education in the Tension of Diversity, Critique of Racism and Coloniality.
