Dr. Miriam Kip, head of the project team Incentivization and Indicators and Charité Representative for Incentivization and Indicators, will present in this session the work and interim results of the project ”Responsible Indicators”, in which a status quo survey and consideration of different models of performance-oriented funding (LOM) for research at the institutions of the Berlin University Alliance was undertaken. The consideration of current practices across disciplines and institutions will allow for a critical discussion on intended and unintended effects of steering elements. In addition, the question will be explored to what extent steering elements can be made useful for quality improvement in research in the future. The platform developed out of the project, the LOMIKON, which can be used for these purposes, will be presented and discussed.

The colloquium is addressed to all interested persons from any scientific or non-scientific field. The session will be held in German.
