A panel discussion and Q&A with the Einstein Foundation Award for Quality in Research Early Career Researcher Nominees 2021
The quality of research is determined by a number of factors. With the Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research, the Einstein Foundation Berlin would like to honour researchers and institutions from all areas of science and all parts of the world who are committed to improving quality in research. The prize will be awarded in three categories and is endowed with a total of 500,000 euros. On November 25, 2021, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., the four nominees in the Early Career category will present their research along with their teams during an online panel discussion. The event follows on from the first International Symposium on Research Integrity, hosted by the Berlin University Alliance (BUA).
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the nominees' projects, how they plan to improve research quality in their respective fields, and the challenges they face. They all seek to solve existing challenges from an innovative perspective. In doing so, they address research ethics in disability studies, research design of large cross-national and cross-cultural team research projects in psychology, reproducibility of EEG experiments in life sciences, and reproducible standards for large cross-cultural research networks in child psychology. Nominees and their teams will be available for a small group Q&A session.
