The researchers look at urban agriculture in Nairobi in terms of production, transport, distribution, and consumption. Urban agriculture can make a significant contribution to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular by reducing post-harvest losses and ensuring food security. The primary goal of the project is to use an interdisciplinary approach to record the current state of urban agriculture in Nairobi and to analyze the development prospects.
