The Berlin-Amman-Mental Health Alliance addresses the challenges of global academic collaborations such as the inequality in knowledge production and different understanding of research through the establishment of institutional exchange formats and the development of a digital prototype for cross-border research activities. The four participating institutions – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin und University of Oxford – follow a strictly interdisciplinary approach by combining knowledge and techniques from medicine, psychology, and computer science.
