The Berlin University Alliance develops and implements a systematic strategy to promote diversity and diversity studies among all partner institutions.

In the long term, the cross-cutting theme aims to expand the leading position of the partner institutions in the area of equal opportunities, to increasingly promote diversity, and to establish sustainable, diversity-related, and internationally competitive standards within the alliance.
