John Ioannidis is Professor of Medicine (Stanford Prevention Research), of Epidemiology and Population Health and by courtesy, of Statistics and of Biomedical Data Science. He is a renowned meta-researcher with his well-known article "Why most published research findings are false" (2005).

Since 2019 John P.A. Ioannidis joined the QUEST Center as an Einstein BIH Visiting Fellow. He built up his research group in the Meta Research Innovation Center Berlin. The Center and fellowship are funded by the Stiftung Charité and the Einstein Foundation Berlin.
