With its Objective Promoting Talent, the Berlin University Alliance explicitly supports career-promoting measures for young researchers. In order to promote the careers of young scientists, it is therefore expected that at least one young researcher at the beginning of his or her career, i.e. with a doctorate or recent habilitation, will participate in the applying consortium. These may also be junior professors or, if applicable, W2 professors at the beginning of their professorship.
